Melvin Lewis White, 71, Greenfield, died Friday, June 17, 2016. He was born on January 6, 1945, in
Indianapolis, as the son of Robert and Wanda (Foster) White.
Melvin is survived by his sons, Darren White of Greenfield and Deven White; sister, Doris Collins of Indianapolis; thirteen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Wanda White; daughter, Deanna White; sister, Beverly Louise Hendrickson; and brothers, Robert “Bobby” White and Gary White.
A memorial gathering will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, June 24, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A memorial service will follow the gathering, beginning at 6 p.m.
