Walter H. Adams, 97, Greenfield, died on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at Brandywine Golden Living Center in Greenfield. He was born on December 26, 1918, in Indianapolis, to the late Albert H. and Ocie Viola (Fansler) Adams.
Surviving Walter is his daughter, Donna (Donald) Grose of Greenfield; brother, Joseph (Ramona) Adams of Maxwell; sisters, Pauline Bartle of Anderson, Myrtle Curtis-Gwinnip of Rushville; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents listed above; wife, Gladys Adams; brother, Albert H. Grose Jr.; and sister, Dorothy Felt.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2016, at Park Cemetery in Greenfield, with military honors presented by the Greenfield Veteran’s Honor Guard.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Stillinger Family Funeral Home in Greenfield.
