Get there early

The concerts all start at 7 p.m. and run about an hour and 15 minutes. With an average attendance of between 800 and 1,000 audience members, the open space at the Court House Plaza fills up quickly.

In case of an overflow crowd, American Legion Place can be blocked off to traffic for additional audience space. Parking also can be an issue. There are lots located north of the Courthouse Annex and to the west of the fire department. Street parking is also available.

No seating is provided

Audience members should bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on.

Plan for dinner and a concert

The local Kiwanis provides soft drinks, water and popcorn during the show, but there are plenty of restaurants downtown for a pre-show dinner. Many concert goers drop off their chairs, and then walk to a restaurant for a meal.

Make a picnic

Concert goers are welcome to spread out a blanket on the lawn and bring their own food to enjoy a picnic during the show.

A rain-out is possible

There is no rain site or rain dates schedule for any of the summer concert series. For a complete line-up of the concert schedule, visit gbcbank.com.
