Race fans: Worship on Saturday night

GREENFIELD — Trinity Park United Methodist Church will offer a service at 5:30 p.m. May 28 for race fans who will be at the Indianapolis 500 the next day. Everyone is welcome. Casual attire is fine.

Community breakfast scheduled for today

McCORDSVILLE — McCordsville United Methodist Church’s next Third Thursday Community Breakfast runs from 7:30 to 10 a.m. today. The menu includes biscuits and gravy, sausage, bacon, eggs, potatoes, pancakes and fruit. A free-will offering will be collected for the breakfast.

Kids Kingdom learning event set to begin

MT. COMFORT — Mt. Comfort United Methodist Church of the Risen Christ is creating a free children’s learning experience of the Bible coming alive.

Kids Kingdom is for children from age 2 to sixth grade. It will meet from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Sundays, mostly on the church lawn or in the gym. It is designed for the community, and organizers are preparing for 100 children.

Each age level, with about 10 in each group under the direction of two teachers, will hear a Bible lesson along with music, drama, play and snacks.

Church members have built a castle on the front lawn of the church as a focal point for the program and a place where the children can play.

The first five-week session begins at 4 p.m. Sunday.

Kids Kingdom also will offer a Bible and Discussion Group for adults while the children are meeting. This group will also help parents with questions pertaining to raising children in accordance with the Bible and an understanding of faith and justice.

Annual camp meeting offers family program

GREENFIELD — The International Conservative Holiness Association will have its annual Camp Meeting June 7 to12 at the Christian Family Center, five miles north of Greenfield.

It will feature evangelists Darrell Stetler and Jeremy Fuller, song evangelists The Glicks, and various services and programs for families, children and youth.

Fish fry planned at Mt. Lebanon church

BRANDYWINE TOWNSHIP — Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, 3447 S. State Road 9, will serve a fish fry from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. today. The menu will feature fried fish, hot dogs, French fries, hush puppies, cole slaw, dessert and beverage.

A free-will offering will be accepted, with proceeds going to missions and special projects.

Booth space available for rent at event

INDIANAPOLIS — Zion United Church of Christ at the corner of South Post Road and Troy Avenue in Indianapolis has among its upcoming events an Indoor-Outdoor Rent-a-Space Sale. See the church website for details at zionuccindy.net. Deadline to reserve space is Monday.

The sale runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 4.
