Nellie B. (Spears) Leach, 91 of New Palestine, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016. She was born in Peytonsburg Ky., on Feb. 27, 1925, to Martha (Capps) Spears and Bal Spears.
Those left to cherish her memory include three daughters, Carolyn (Eddie) Lyon, Barbara (Jim) Slone, Sheila (Charlie) Holliday; seven grandchildren; 13 great- grandchildren and her sister, Nettie Ree Martin.
Nellie was preceded in death by a baby daughter, Janet and her husband, Ralph Leach.
Visitation from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 2016, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140. The funeral will take place 1 p.m. on Friday, April 8, 2016, at the funeral home. Entombment will follow the service at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.
