SongFarmers looking for music circle players
SHELBYVILLE — The SongFarmers of Shelby County are looking for anyone who plays a musical instrument to attend a music circle and pot luck dinner at 5 p.m. April 17 at the Strand Theatre, 216 S. Harrison St. Bring a covered dish, musical instruments and the family to join them on stage for Circle in the Round. Buck Creek Players set audition for ‘Assassins’
INDIANAPOLIS — The Buck Creek Players will hold open auditions for Stephen Sondheim’s “Assassins” at 7 p.m. March 21 and 22 at the playhouse, 11150 Southeastern Ave. Directors are looking for a diverse group of 12 men, four women and one boy for this Tony award-winning musical. Hopefuls should come with 16 to 20 measures of a prepared song. Performances are scheduled for the weekends of May 27 to June 12. Contact [email protected] for more information.
Arts Fair on the Square calling for artists
BLOOMINGTON — Arts Fair on the Square invites artists to apply for the 36th annual fair from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 18. Sponsored by the Bloomington Playwright’s Project, this juried event features 110 artists and brings in thousands of visitors to the city every year. The application deadline is April 1.
