Library offers musical cup games workshop

GREENFIELD — You’ve seen “The Cup Song” performed in movies such as “Pitch Perfect”; here is your chance to perform it with a group.

Teens are invited to participate in this musical workshop at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road.

Materials provided include plastic cups and other household instruments. Register on line at hcplibrary.org.

Arts & Soul 2016 presents tribute to Coltrane

INDIANAPOLIS — The Arts Council of Indiana presents the Rob Dixon Quartet with Goldie and a tribute to jazz saxophonist John Coltrane and vocalist Nina Simone at 12:15 p.m. Saturday at the Artsgarden, located above the intersection of Illinois and Washington streets.

Design Center offering interior decorating class

CARMEL — The Indiana Design Center, 200 S. Rangeline Road, announces its February interior decorating workshop titled “Room to Bloom: How to Achieve Form and Function in Children’s Space” at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The workshop is presented by Whittney Parkinson from Mawr Design.

As the workshop is free, attendees are asked to bring a donation item for Second Helpings, an agency dedicated to fighting hunger and promoting culinary job training in Indianapolis.
