Helen M. Hall, 67, left this earth at 9:45 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016, in her home surrounded by family that hugged and kissed her goodbye ended her long struggle with cancer. She was resident of Greenwood. Born March 22, 1948, she was the daughter of John D. Hall and Mary H. (Welter).

She was preceded in death by her mother, father and sister, Beverly Andrews.

Helen was the mother of Kevin Baker, Dawn Lyon (Mark) and Tammy Behrens (Karl). She had six grandchildren,  Connor Lyon, Tanner Lyon, Adalynn Lyon, Kolin Behrens, Kailey Behrens, and Danielle Reid. 

Helen was extremely intelligent as a graduate with honors from Arlington High School and also attended Ball State with a Masters degree from Columbia University. She was a very gifted as she was in the marching band and won many awards for journalism. 

She moved to Minnesota in 1975 then to Colorado in 1980 but returned home to Indiana in 1998 to be close to her family. She was constantly learning new arts and enjoyed decorating. Her greatest love was sharing that knowledge with her grandchildren.   She is for sure in heaven sharing that joy with all children.

Visitation hours will be from 3-5 p.m., Saturday Feb. 6, 2016, at Wilson St.Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main Street. Dr. Woodrow Church will officiate a celebration of life service to follow at 5p.m. She will be laid to rest at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
