Betty Marie Sanders, 93, of Solsberry, Ind., died Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015, in Garden Villa Health Center. She was born Oct. 25, 1922, in Monroe County, Ind., to John W Keller and Cora Elizabeth Hendricks Keller. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Liberty Church of Christ in Hendricksville, she also enjoyed helping anyone she could, doing ironing, sewing, quilting or gardening. Many family and friends were the recipients of her kind acts.
Survivors include a son, James L. Sanders (Melea) of Switz City; four daughters, Judith Ann Eads (Charlie) of Solsberry, Teresa Kaye Rivera (Richard) of Greenfield, Denise Sue Douglas (Kenneth) of Solsberry and Marcia Lynn Higginbotham (Eddie) of Solsberry; two brothers, Carroll Keller (Clesta) of Salem and Fred Keller (Rose) of Bloomington; 10 grandchildren; 20 great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, T. Leon Sanders; three sisters, Ruth Bruner, Ruby Perkins and Dorothy Prow and seven brothers, Wendell Keller, Robert Keller, John E. Keller, Elmer Keller and three who died in infancy.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. for Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015, in the funeral home. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday Dec. 31, 2015, in Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, 700 W Gourley Pike, Bloomington, IN., with Reverend Jim Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Church of Christ Cemetery.
