CityWay hosts ‘Choose your own adventure’ exhibit

INDIANAPOLIS — Justin Chase Lane’s solo exhibition, “Choose Your Own Adventure,” is on display through Dec. 31 at the CityWay location of the Indianapolis Museum of Contemporary Art, 216 E. South St. The exhibit from this Seattle-born artist includes photographs and drawings representing miniature and life-sized tableaus that Lane constructs and then photographs. Center hosts wood-carving workshop

GREENFIELD — A wood-carvers group, sponsored by the Park and Rec. Dept., meets from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the Patricia Elmore Center, 280 N. Apple St. The weekly workshop is free. Attendees should bring their own materials. Help is available.

Mosaic art on display at Jewish Community Center

INDIANAPOLIS — The Jewish Community Center, 6701 Hoover Road, presents the student artwork of mosaic artist and teacher Suzy Friedman now through Jan. 4. The glasswork of more than 25 students is on display; some are available for purchase. Visit jccindy.org for exhibit hours.
