Maurice Leon “Teensie” Jarrett, 90, of Greenfield, passed away Sunday, Oct. 25, 2015.

He was a WWII Army veteran where he served in Germany as an MP. He was a member of the Mt. Comfort United Methodist Church, Brookside Masonic Lodge, and was a former fire chief for the Buck Creek Fire Dept. He also owned Jarrett’s Appliance retiring in 1992.

He is survived by his loving wife, of 64 years, Jane (Dorsett) Jarrett; daughters, Janet (Bill) Benedict, Carol (Marcus) Clark, Sandra (Doug) Mott, Lisa (Jim) Meyerrose, Paula (Jerry) Schutt; son, Steven (Linda) Jarrett; grandchildren, Ronald (Connie) Fox, Jennifer (Daniel) Hutson, Kevin (Amanda) Fox, Ryan (Su) Clark, Elizabeth (Paul) Carroll, Samuel Clark, Rebeckah (Jason) Forbes, Jon (Lynette) Mott, Nate (Angela) Mott, Phil (Kristen) Mott, Laura Mott, Marjorie Schutt, Andrew Schutt and Chris (Amy) Meyerrose; 21 great- grandchildren and two great- great- grandchildren.

Friends may visit from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015, at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis. The celebration of his life will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015, at the funeral center.

Contributions may be made in his memory to the Hancock Regional Hospital Hospice.
