Maxine Lenore Stover, 72, of Pendleton, passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 12, 2015 in Anderson, Ind. She was born March 14, 1943, in Tiffin, to the late Leroy Franklin & Lenore Kathleen (Schuster) Stevens. She married Richard E. Stover in Cleveland, Ohio, on March 21, 1975. He preceded her in death on Oct. 24, 1990.
Maxine graduated from Ball State University. She worked at Pendleton Community Library & Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Library in Zionsville. She was very active in Friends of the Pendleton Library. She was a member of the YMCA & Oasis.
She is survived by her cousin, Craig Schuster of Lexington, Ky.; step-daughters, Lynda Doll of Sautee Nacoochee, Ga., Pamela Welsh of North Lawrence, Ohio, and several close friends.
She was also preceded in death by several of her beloved pets.
A Celebration of Life will be from 4 – 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, 2015, at the Pendleton Community Library. Arrangements are entrusted to Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Lahm Chapel.
