Woman faces molestation charge

FORTVILLE — An Indianapolis woman has been arrested on a charge of child molestation after a teenager said he was touched inappropriately.

Jennelle Saxon, 38, faces a Level 4 felony after a boy told police she fondled him at a home in Fortville, police said.

The incident occurred at the end of July and was reported to police in early August, according to court documents. The boy told police he had been sitting on a couch with Saxon when she grabbed him. The boy told his mother the next day, and she used the Indiana Department of Child Services’ child abuse hotline to report the incident, court documents state.

Saxon was interviewed by detectives and representatives from the department of child services; court documents state she changed her story several times while speaking about the alleged incident to investigators.

A warrant was issued for Saxon’s arrest Friday, and she was arrested Sunday.

Saxon was being held in the Marion County Jail at press time awaiting transfer to the Hancock County Jail, according to police.
