Carla Michelle "Carbaby" McCloud, 22, of New Palestine, passed away on Aug. 12, 2015, in Indianapolis. Carla was born in Indianapolis, on Sept. 13, 1992, a daughter of  Ken and Cindy McCloud of New Palestine.

She graduated from New Palestine High School in 2011, where she was actively in the Choir and Show Choir. She was a 2015 graduate of the University of Indianapolis where she was on the honor roll all through college and earned her Bachelors Degree in Psychology. Carla was also continuing her education at the University of Indianapolis and pursuing her Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy. She was currently employed with Community Hospitals of Indianapolis in the NICU. She was a member of the AOTA and also was a Black Belt in Karate.One of her favorite quotes, by John Green was "My thoughts are stars I cannot fathom into constellations".

Survivors include; parents; sister, Krista (Steven) Wesolek of Indianapolis; love of her life boyfriend, Ross Gallagher of Indianapolis; grandparents, Jerry (Avalon) Hampton of Daleville, Shirley (Orlyn) Mogler of New Palestine and Ron (Kim) McCloud of New Palestine; great- grandparent, Faye Crum of Greenfield, uncles; David Hampton, Dan Everhart and Brian Carr, aunts, Tammy Wheeler and Lynn Carr, and Kathy Knox; nephew, Joshua Wesolek; cousins, Mandy, Jake, Carolyn, Ed, Jessie, Brittany, Kyle, Tim, Luke, Chris, Michael, Elizabeth, Rebekah, Jason, Evan and Josh and 1.25 million friends.

Preceded in death by grandfather, Cletus Crum; uncle, Daniel Crum; grandmother, Judy McCloud and great- uncle, Olen Elam.

The visitation will be from 3:00pm until time of service at the mortuary. A celebration of life service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2015, at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel with Pastor Roger Kinion officiating.
