St. Thomas festival opens tomorrow

FORTVILLE —The 33rd annual St. Thomas Festival will be from 7 to 11 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday at the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 523 S. Merrill St., Fortville.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Friday for a Monte Carlo casino-themed evening for residents 21 and older.

Friday’s activities cost $15 per person or $25 per couple. Tickets include food, soft drinks, beer and wine coolers. Games available to play will include blackjack, Texas poker, chuck-a-luck, roulette, reverse raffle and tip boards.

Saturday events include activities for the family including a chicken noodle dinner, ice cream, games for kids, live music, bingo, a blood drive, a silent auction, lemon shake-ups, a farmers market, raffles and church tours.

All proceeds will benefit the church.
