GREENFIELD — Two additional State Street intersections will have new traffic signals featuring flashing yellow left-turn arrows starting this week.
The Indiana Department of Transportation plans to activate the signals at State Street (State Road 9) and Muskegon Drive and State Street and McClarnon Drive as soon as today.
The flashing yellow arrow signals allow left-turning traffic to yield the right of way to oncoming traffic and pedestrians and turn when it’s safe to do so.
The yellow flashing turn arrows already were activated at State Street intersections with McKenzie Road, Green Meadows Drive and New Road.
