CrazyLake Acting Company’s production of “Legally Blonde” opens this weekend and runs through July 19 at the H.J. Ricks Centre for the Arts at 122 W. Main St. in Greenfield.
Elle Woods, a stereotypical blonde, follows the man she loves to Harvard Law School to prove that she is smart enough and “serious” enough to win him back. Her adventures are told through lively songs with energetic choreography, performed by characters such as hairdresser Paulette Buonafonte, Professor of Law Callahan, fitness guru and murder suspect Brooke Wyndham, law firm intern Emmett Forrest, the Delta Nu Greek Chorus, Elle’s boyfriend Warner, Elle’s cheerleader Greek chorus, and Elle herself.
Friday and Saturday shows are at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday matinees are at 2:30 p.m. Tickets will be $12 at the door, but advance-sale tickets can be purchased for $10 online at crazylake.com or at Hometown Comics in the Green Meadows Plaza. Email email@example.com or call 317-477-2787 with questions.
