Howard S. “Red” Armstrong, 80, of Fortville, died July 3, 2015. He was born Feb. 17, 1935, in Indianapolis, to the late Robert and Rachel Armstrong.
Survivors include his wife, of 59 years, Dorothy (Fisher) Armstrong; sons, Wayne (Jacque) Armstrong and Guy (Cheri) Armstrong; daughter, Karen (John) Alexander; six grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Castleview Baptist Church, 8601 Hague Road, where he was a 45-year member. Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Interment will be at Gravel Lawn in Fortville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Missions Program at Castleview Baptist Church or the Wheeler Mission.
