Beverly M. Wall Steuerwald, of Umatilla, Fla., formerly of New Palestine, went home to be with her Savior on June 25, 2015. She was born Oct. 8, 1922, to Benjamin and Pearl Wall and was raised in Holmen, Wisc., along with her four siblings.
She married James Steuerwald in 1951, and they lived in New Palestine for more than 40 years, where they were faithful members of Burge Terrace Baptist Church in Indianapolis. She and Jim moved permanently to Florida in 1994, where they served faithfully at Victory Baptist Church in Eustis.
She is survived by her children, Marsha (& Phil) Crist of Indianapolis; J Bradley (& Nancy) Steuerwald of Greenwood; Paula Thompson of Fairbanks, Alaska; Mark (& Sharon) Steuerwald of Brevard, N.C.; grandchildren, Jon (& Lynn) Crist of Indianapolis; Ayren (& Tammy) Steuerwald and Shana Miller of Indianapolis. Also surviving her are numerous nieces and nephews, whom she loved, communicated with regularly, and prayed for faithfully as well as numerous friends in the New Palestine area.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her four siblings, Wendell, Phillip, Dorothy, and Phyllis and their spouses; her youngest daughter, Karen and niece, Betty Jane Lentz.
Funeral services for Beverly will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 2, 2015, at Harden-Pauli Funeral Home in Eustis, Fla., with Pastor Charles Ashley officiating.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
