Faith Baptist to celebrate anniversary

GREENFIELD — Faith Baptist Church in Morristown will celebrate its 23rd anniversary and homecoming from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Hancock County Boys and Girls Club. All services and a pitch-in meal, plus games and activities, will take place at this location.

Fortville Nazarene to present concert

FORTVILLE — The Fortville Church of the Nazarene will play host to Wade Spencer in concert at 10:45 a.m. Sunday.

There is no cost to attend, but an offering for his ministry will be taken.

Wade is the oldest son in the original musical family The Spencers. He began singing at 8 and playing guitar and mandolin at 11 and recorded his first album at 14.

He has written and recorded numerous songs for the Spencers for many years, making more than 3,000 appearances from the East Coast to the West Coast and throughout the Caribbean.

His newest release, “Fresh Awakening,” is available for purchase.

Softball league seeks team

CUMBERLAND — Want to energize your church through sports? The Agapé co-ed softball league has an opening for a team to join this season. Motorcycle riders gather for fellowship

GREENFIELD — Members of the Crossroad Riders, the Greenfield chapter of the Christian Motorcyclist Association, meet at 9 a.m. the third Saturday of most months at Jim Dandy restaurant and also gather to enjoy rides together.

New Life’s ‘Godly Man’ study continues

FORTVILLE — New Life Christian Fellowship is offering a monthly study for men, “Living as a Godly Man in an Ungodly World.” It meets at 7 p.m. the third Tuesday of the month.

Aug. 18: The Stability of a Godly Man

Patriotic concert set for July 4

PHILADELPHIA — A free Armed Forces Appreciation Concert is planned for 6 to 8 p.m. July 4 at Philadelphia United Methodist Church, 2265 U.S. 40 West.

Free popcorn and drinks will be served. There will be drawings for prizes.

Those who go are asked to bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating.

Rummage sale set at Mt. Lebanon
