Charlene Hubbard, 79, of New Palestine, passed away May, 20, 2015. Charlene was born in Pineville, Ky., on Aug. 17, 1935, to Charles and Anna Messer.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her. Charlene was also a longtime member of Faith Trinity Pentecostal Church of Shelbyville, Ind.
Charlene is survived by her children, Tim Hubbard, Tammy Chavez (Rene), Todd Hubbard (Shelley), and Tom Hubbard; siblings; Maureen Baker, Don Messer (Faye), Benita Shelton (Charles), John Messer (Jodie), David Messer (Lisa); sister- in- law; Phyllis Messer and grandchildren; Cole Chavez; Mariah, Marissa, Trey and Jovey Hubbard, who were all her pride and joy.
In addition to her parents, Charlene was preceded in death by her previous husband, Pearl Hubbard Jr.; husband, Wiley Hubbard and brothers; Robert and James Messer.
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Services for Charlene Hubbard will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at Hendryx Mortuary, New Palestine Chapel. Burial is at New Palestine Cemetery, and will directly follow the service.
