Families are invited to the inaugural Riley Dance Marathon from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Greenfield-Central High School. Activities include face-painting, a bounce house, basketball and dodgeball. Dance Marathon is a national Children’s Miracle Network program that concentrates on year-round fundraising for Riley Hospital for Children. Butler Ballet will present the fairy tale, “Sleeping Beauty,” from Friday through Sunday at Clowes Memorial Hall at 4602 Sunset Ave. in Indianapolis as part of Butler Artsfest. Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage from “Mythbusters,” the Emmy-nominated Discovery Channel series, will bring their show Sunday to the Murat Theatre at the Old National Centre. They will present an evening of on-stage experiments, audience participation, exciting videos and behind-the-scenes stories. “Mythbusters” the TV show is now in its 13th season, and Hyneman and Savage have been touring the show since 2012. The Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site at 1230 N. Delaware St. in Indianapolis will present a collection of three one-act vintage comedies, running now through May 2. The three comedies, “Goodnight, Caroline,” “Night Nurse, Madeline” and “Suppressed Desires” will be performed in different rooms of the mansion with candlelight and staging that utilizes the original furnishings.
