June O. (Dolen) Hanna, 91, of Pendleton, passed away April 10, 2015, at the Rawlins House in Pendleton. She was born June 26, 1923, in Decatur, Illinois, and was a Pendleton resident since 1951.
June served as a secretary at Pendleton Elementary School for 30 years. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Anderson and was a 1941 graduate of Tech High School in Indianapolis.
Survivors include her husband, Jack Hanna whom she married, Nov. 27, 1943, in Indianapolis; sons Mike (Carol) Hanna and Jeff (Gail) Hanna; grandchildren, Chad (Shannon) Hanna, Cord Hanna, Bill (Stacy) Marsh and Nicole (Bob Hicks) Powers; seven great-grandchildren; brother Bob Dolen; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff of Rawlins House and Fall Creek Retirement Village for their excellent care.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
