INDIANAPOLIS — Girl Scouts of Central Indiana recently partnered with MainSource Bank to accept credit cards at booth locations for Girl Scout Cookies.

When customers now visit Girl Scout Cookie booths in front of Marsh Supermarkets and other retail locations, they can pay by credit or debit card.

The partnership between Girl Scouts of Central Indiana and MainSource Bank makes it possible to equip 3,000 Girl Scout volunteers with mobile technology to enhance the cookie purchase experience. Girl Scouts of Central Indiana is one of the first Girl Scout councils in the country to accept credit card payments on such a wide scale.
