William A. “Bill” Kenipe, 80, of Fortville, died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015, at his home. He was born Jan. 28, 1934, in Indianapolis to the late Jennings and Goldie (Ottinger) Kenipe.
Bill was a Army veteran.
Bill is survived by his wife, Jane (Kostielney) Kenipe; children, Scott (Tina Gullion) Kenipe of Anderson; Lisa M. (Gary) Lawyer of Shirley; Angela (Bill) West of Ingalls; Shelley (Tim) Scruggs of Fortville; Holly Pemberton of Fortville; Heather (Ben) Hunter of Fishers; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; siblings, Don (Marilyn) Kenipe of Pierceton, Betty Barnes of Indianapolis, Kenneth (Joan) Kenipe of Indianapolis, Robert “Bob” (Jeanine) Kenipe of Monrovia and Mary (Clarence) Merriman of Whiteland.
He was preceded in death by siblings, Jennings Kenipe, Jr., Thelma Craig, Judy O’Neil and Pauline Tex.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015, at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
