Cecil V. Johns, 72, of Indianapolis, died Jan. 12, 2015. He was born July 27, 1942, to the late Ophie and Letta Williams Johns.
Cecil is survived by his former wife, Gloria Hudson Johns; children, Sherri (John) Sutton, David (Veronda) Johns and Daniel (Shannon) Johns; four grandchildren; and brother, Bill Johns.
A sister, Mary O’Hara; and three brothers, Russell Williams, Ophie Johns, Jr. and Ronnie Johns, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23, 2015 and from 11 a.m. until the time of service at noon Saturday at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St., Indianapolis
