Lulu F. (Virt) Stacey, 91, formerly of Cumberland, passed away Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014, at Community Hospital East. She was born on Sept. 6, 1923, in Indianapolis, as the daughter of Benjamin R. and Cora A. (Crone) Virt.
Lulu is survived by her sons, Robert L. (Carole) Stacey of Anderson and William L. Stacey of New Palestine; daughters, Carla F. Stacey, Judith A. Stacey, and Donna L. (Jack) Danish all of Indianapolis; 6 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin R. and Cora A. (Crone) Virt; husband, Karl L. Stacey; two brothers; five sisters; and daughter-in-law, Kolleen A. Stacey.
Visitation will be held from 10 until noon on Monday, Dec. 22, 2014, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation. Pastor Steve Bradley will be officiating. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.
