Conway Shelton, 85, of Greenfield, passed away Dec. 11, 2014. Born Feb. 3, 1929, in Evansville, to John and Helen (Duckworth) Shelton.
Conway married Dolores Jean (Featherstone) Shelton on Nov. 18, 1950.
Conway served proudly in the Air Force. He was a manufacturing engineer working for both Chrysler and Ford Motor Company.
Conway enjoyed playing golf, tinkering with electronics, ham radio, horses, and watching NASCAR. Conway was a 33rd degree Mason.
Conway leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, of 64 years Dolores; two daughters, Cindy Schwier (Larry) and Nancy Shelton Williams; son, Donald Shelton; brother, John Shelton; and sister, Shirley Dilley; 8 grandchildren, Jerry Schwier (Julie), Faye, Matthew, Eric, and Eleanor Williams, Teresa Shelton Ligon, Julieanne Shelton, Andrew Shelton; 6 great-grandchildren, Brittany and Brandon Schwier, Camron Day, Layla Shelton, Mia and Avery Ligon.
Arrangements for Conway Shelton are entrusted to Hendryx Mortuary.
