Mildred “Millie” Miller, 86, of Roanoke, Ala., formerly of Greenfield, died Nov. 27, 2014, at Wedowee Hospital in Alabama. She was born on Aug. 29, 1928, in Paulding County, Ga., as the daughter of Otis and Martha (Smith) Hayes.
Millie is survived by her granddaughter, Shelia (Kevin) Johnson of Roanoake, Ala.; and three great-granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Miller; daughter, Patricia Muir; grandsons, Scott and Charles Ward; and siblings, Carl, Grace Adair, Harlet, Ed, Lowell and Howell.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014, at Park Cemetery in Greenfield. Pastor Roger Kinion will be officiating.
