Eva Lee Taylor, 91, of Greenfield, died Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014, at GreenTree Assisted Living at Post Road. She was born on Jan. 21, 1923, in Joplin, Ark., as the daughter of Phillip D. and Ada E. (Standefer) Cearley.
She served in the Navy. She married Richard F. Taylor on Jan. 19, 1946.
Eva is survived by her three sons, Richard (Margie) Taylor of N.C., Timothy Taylor and Gregory Taylor both of Indianapolis; two daughters, Patricia Newberry of Palm Harbor, Fla., and Linda (Paul) Tuttle of Cumberland; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Susan Prazeau; son, Paul Taylor; two brothers; and five sisters.
Visitation will be held from 4 until 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 27, 2014, at Erlewein Mortuary, 1484 W. US 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 519 Jefferson Blvd, Greenfield, IN 46140. Msgr. William Stumpf will be officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
