LaVonne “Bonnie” M. (Butler) Jacob, 83, of Indianapolis, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014, at Westminster Village North. She was born on December 4, 1930 in Indianapolis as the daughter of Fred and Christine (Burke) Butler. Bonnie married Ralph “Jake” Jacob on May 27, 1950 in Indianapolis.
Bonnie is survived by her sons, Gary (Karin) Jacob, Terry (Lynn) Jacob and Larry (Shannon) Jacob all of Indianapolis; daughters, Diane (Joe) Dowd of Indianapolis, Debbie (Steve) Stamas of Centerville, OH, Vicki (Jeff) Traub of Indianapolis, Pam (Pat) Padgett of New Palestine and Sherry (Jeff) Bluethmann of Greenfield; brother, Charles Butler of Indianapolis; 23 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph Jacob; two granddaughters; a grandson and sisters, Jackie Richardson, Pat Richey and Eileen Butler.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until Noon on Friday, Oct. 17, 2014, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A mass of Christian burial will take place following the visitation. Father Kirkhoff will be officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Indianapolis.
