Betty Jane Grant, 93, of Greenfield, died Oct. 7, 2014. She was born May 22, 1921, in Connersville, to the late Calvin and Anna Lutz Porter. Betty married Bernard J. Grant.
Betty is survived by her sons, John and David (Elaine) Grant; daughters-in-law, Rita and Janet Grant; grandchildren, Mike, Kevin, Bryan, Todd, Keith, Sarah, Molly and Melissia; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Betty’s husband of 50 years, Bernard J. Grant; two sons, Michael and Jim Grant; daughter, Mary Moorman; and son-in-law, Bill Moorman, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014, at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St. with funeral services Friday at 10 a.m. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. in Dale Cemetery, Connersville, Ind.
