Mark Allen King, 57, Beloved son, brother and father, formerly of Greenfield, passed away early Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2014, at his home in Hudson, Fla., after an extended illness. Born on Dec. 8, 1956, in Lebanon, Ind., he spent most of his life in Texas and Florida.

Mark attended Greenfield Central Schools and worked as an Iron worker most of his life.

He leaves behind four children, sons, Travis King of Florida, Aaron King, and Carlo King of Arizona; daughter, Briana (William Hammel) King; and four grandchildren, Chyanne Marie Hammel, Carter Allen Hammel, Serenity Naomi King and Aaron Christian King Jr.

Left to also cherish his memories are his father, Marvin Berl (Helen) King of Greenfield; brothers, Terry (Tamyra) King of Cathage, Ricky King of Centerville, Kevin (Tami) King of Noblesville; sisters, Rhonda Gadberry of Knightstown, Vicky (Kevin) Mars of Shirley; Julie (Rick) Burcham of New Castle, Rebecca (Rick) Hurst of Port Richey, Fla., and Andrea King of Greenfield; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Wyoma Jean (Fanter) King; and brother, Kerry Berl King; paternal grandparents, Otis & Ollie King; maternal grandparents, Vernon & Elizabeth Fanter; and special friend, Kimberly Hedrick.

There will be a private ceremony held in Hudson, Fla., at a later date.
