Ella Mae King, 93, passed away Sunday, Aug. 17, 2014, in Shelbyville. She was born to the late John and Essie Settles in Kentucky on March 23, 1921.
She is survived by her two daughters, Joan (Ben) Wheatley of Fountaintown, Judy (Nick) Ciarletta of Shelbyville; two sons, Donald (Diane) King of Louisville, Ky., Ronald (Carol) King of Fountaintown; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren whom all she loved and cherished to the fullest.
Ella was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dale King; two sisters; four brothers and one grandchild.
Visitation will be at Hendryx Mortuary New Palestine Chapel from 1 – 3 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014. Service will begin at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow in New Palestine Cemetery.
