Geraldine E. “June” (Allgood) Taberski, 86, of Indianapolis, died Thursday, July 31, 2014, at Lawrence Manor Healthcare Center in Indianapolis. She was born Aug. 19, 1927, in Chickasha, Okla., to the late James Allgood and Mattie (Dalton) Currnut.
She is survived by her children, Ann Holden Schnitz of McCordsville, James B. Holden of Orlando, Fla., and Linda Harris of Antigo, Wis.; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Taberski; daughter, Audrey Jean Emery; and sister, Audrey Underwood.
A celebration of June’s life will take place on Monday, Aug. 4, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will immediately follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
