Winfred "Win" West, 83, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014. He was born Nov. 27, 1930, in Somerset, Ky., the son of Martin and Audrey (Rainwater) West.
Survivors include his daughter, Debby (Mike) Theobald, of Shelbyville; son, Vic West of Shirley; four grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren.
Win was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Garvin West; daughter-in-law, Margo West; and companion, Nona Paul.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 25, 2014, at the funeral homes, with Rev. Robert Campbell officiating. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville.
