Ruth E. Mithoefer, 95, of Indianapolis, passed away July 5, 2014. She was born in Hancock Co., on Aug. 14, 1918, to the late Edward and Ethel Bussell Deerberg.
Ruth was a comptometer for 10 years with GM-Chevrolet and a member of St. John United Church of Christ and the Altruistic XV Club. She exhibited baked goods at the Home and Family Arts Building at the Indiana State Fair for many years.
Ruth is survived by her son, Gary (Nancy) Mithoefer and daughter, Arlene (John) Snedeker; two grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren and four great- stepgrandchildren.
Her husband, Alfred Mithoefer preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 4- 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2014, and Wednesday, July 9, 2014, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 10:30 a.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St.
