James Schorling Rieke, 66, of Lafayette, Ind., passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2014. Jim was born in Indianapolis on April 24, 1948.
He served our country in the United States Army during Vietnam.
Jim is survived by sons, Jeremiah David (Shannon) Rieke and Jonathan Isaac Rieke; his mother, Freda Mae (Williams) Rieke and sister Rita Jean (Max) Tapscott.
Jim was preceded in death by his father, Robert Warren Rieke.
His calling was held at 1 p.m. Sunday June 1, 2014, at Flanner and Buchanan-Speedway followed by a Memorial Service at 2 p.m.
