Paul "Johnny" Arnold Horn, 80, of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2014, at Community Hospital East. He was born on December 17, 1933, in Indianapolis as the son of Paul F. and Juanita Pearl (Cogswell) Horn.
He graduated from Arsenal Tech High School. He married Wanda Lee (Hartman) on May 22, 1955, at St. John United Church of Christ in Indianapolis. He worked for Ford Motor Company for 34 years before retiring in 1991. Mr. Horn was a member of St. John United Church of Christ of Indianapolis. Paul enjoyed fishing and hunting, and loved his animals. He was the family Santa Claus for over 50 years.
Paul is survived by his wife, Wanda Horn of Greenfield; son, Steven Horn of New Palestine; many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2014, also at the mortuary. Dr. Jimmy Watson will be officiating. Burial will follow at St. John UCC Cemetery in Indianapolis.
