Leslie A. Andis, 62, of Greenfield, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014, at Hancock Regional Hospital Hospice of Greenfield. He was born June 20, 1951, to the late Ervin and Ellen (Evans) Andis.
He worked with Roll Coater for 33 years as a line supervisor in Greenfield, IN, retiring in 2001. He later retired from Jupiter in Fairland, IN in January of 2014. Leslie enjoyed following NASCAR and watching Saturday night racing. He also loved to spend time with his family and grandkids, and watching TV with his dog. He always held a special place for his basset hound Toby.
Leslie is survived by his wife, Barbara (Devitt) Andis, of Greenfield; son, Toby (Michelle) of Greenfield; daughter, Dodi (Mike) Chase of Greenfield, brother, Roger (Linda) Burns of Fla.; grandchildren, Christopher (Erika) Chase, Ashley (Charlie) Chase, Cody Andis, Corey Andis, Kayla Andis; great-grandchildren, Kayden Andis and Madalynn Key, all of Greenfield; as well as many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends that meant the world to him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Michael Andis and Charles “Bud” Andis.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2014, at the funeral home. Pastor Danny Curry will officiate. Burial at Park Cemetery will follow immediately after.
