Anita K. Collis, 56, of Carthage passed away at home on Tuesday, April 8, 2014, surrounded by her family. She was born in Greenfield, on Nov. 21, 1957, to the late Joseph R. and Francis (Tutrow) Evans. She married Myron Collis Sr. on Feb. 15, 1980.
She was an assistant manager at the Family Dollar Store in Greenfield. She spent 13 years of her life in Florida. Anita enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo, was an avid race fan and loved being with family and friends.
She will be greatly missed by her loving husband, Myron; four sons, Jeremy Evans, Myron Jr., Jeffery, and Joshua Collis; two daughters, Diana and Pricilla Collis; two brothers, Joseph Jr. and Ed Evans; three sisters, Wanda and Lynn Collis and Karen Montgomery and 11 grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Trevor Collis.
Friends may visit from 4- 8 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2014. Services for Anita will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 14, 2014, at Heritage Funeral Care and burial will be in Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
