Jerry C. White, Sr., 76 years old, a resident of Greenfield passed away Wednesday morning, March 26, 2014, at Kindred Health and Rehab, Greenfield. He was born May 4, 1937, in Knox Co., Ind., to the late Noah and Mary Frances (Smith) White.
He worked as a paint and auto-body repairman and loved to work on and restore old cars. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
He survived by his wife, Sharon (Herald) White of Greenfield whom he married on April 28, 1973; sons, Jerry (Mary) White, Jr. of Indianapolis, Ricky (Lynn) White, Jason (Jenn) White, both of Greenfield; daughters, Debbie Stanton of Indianapolis, Tammy Daggett of Knightstown, Jerri Sue (Tracy) Radcliff of Indianapolis; brothers, Winford White, Eugene White; 16 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents listed above; daughter, Phyllis Robbins; brothers, Bill, Floyd, and Robert Lee.
Visitation will be 5 until 8 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2014, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. A funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
