David A. Lingenfelter, 67, of Greenfield, died Monday, March 10, 2014. He was born Aug. 9, 1946, in Indianapolis, to the late James E. and Imogina (Head) Lingenfelter.
He married Phyllis (Clayton) Lingenfelter on April 8, 1966 in Mohawk, Ind. David was a truck driver, retiring in 2008. He was a former member of the Greenfield Moose Lodge and the Eagles. He also loved to camp.
He is survived by wife, Phyllis of Greenfield; son, Michael (Stacy) Lingenfelter of New Whiteland; daughters, Katherine (Richard) Mullins of Edinburgh, Rebecca Stephens of Greenfield; brother, Richard Lingenfelter; sister, Patricia Lingenfelter and grandchildren, Nicole, Vanessa, Corbin, Brandon, Stephanie, Melissa and Gary.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald Lingenfelter.
Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2014, at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the service at the cemetery.
