Charlotte Jean Kirkwood Likens, 67, of Glasgow, died Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. She was born in Greenfield, she was the daughter of the late John Kirkwood and Irene Carmen Thomas of Carthage, who survives.
She attended the Wisdom Faith Community Church and was retired from Suntec Industries. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband, Ottis Likens and a son, Michael Likens.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Harriett (Jessie) Gulley and Rosie (Jerry) Ragle both of Glasgow; two sons, Ottis (May) Likens II and Timmy (Donna) Likens both of Glasgow; two brothers and three sisters, Mike Kirkwood, Johnny Kirkwood, Barbara Fuston, Rebecca Spiker and Ethel Crappo all of Indiana; 12 grandchildren, 12 great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and two special friends, Lela Brewster and Velma Childers.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 9, 2014. at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:30 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014, at the funeral home.
