Ralph “Buck” F. Willard, 79, of Greenfield, died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014. He was born on Nov. 12, 1934, in Hancock County, the son of Herbert Otto and Etheklo (Fout) Willard. In 1952, Ralph graduated from Charlottesville High School. He married Betty A. (Michael) Willard on January 30, 1954.
He is survived by his loving wife, of 59 years, Betty; daughter, Debra Long of Greenfield; sister, Dorothy (Vern) Hendrickson of Corydon; two grandchildren; and two great -grandchildren.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Lavina Coulter.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Jan. 14, 2014, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory in Greenfield. Pastor John Paulson will be officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
