Virginia Lee "Ginny" Merrell Anderson, 74, of Morristown, died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013, at her residence. She was born Feb. 4, 1939, in Bald Knob, Ark., the daughter of Leroy G. and Callie I. (Beavers) Merrell.
She married Richard E. Anderson on June 27, 1958, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 13, 2007.
Survivors include her son, Jeffrey A. Anderson of Morristown; sister, Gayle (Jesse) Pieper of New Palestine; and a brother, Richard (April) Merrell of Hebron, Illinois.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Wilma Davis and Laverne Reinertsen; and a brother, Scott Merrell.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, 2013, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown.
