Barbara E. Crickmore, 84, of Greenfield, passed away Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, at her home. She was born May, 30, 1929, in Dunkirk, Ind., the daughter of the late Estal and Esther (Haley) Wright.
Barbara attended Dunkirk High School and later married Ray C. Crickmore on June 1, 1947. Barbara was a longtime member of the Femmes of the 40 & 8 and the American Legion Post #119 Auxiliary.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Ray of Greenfield; son, Randy R. Crickmore of Muncie; daughters, Diana G Keesling of Dunkirk, Victoria K. Jeanes of Muncie; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Penny A. Johns; 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
Friends may call Friday, Oct. 4, 2013, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery, 10703 North State Road 3, Muncie, IN.
