Richard L. Jack, 76, of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013, at Hancock Regional Hospital. He was born in Greenfield April 1, 1937, to the late Oakley and Iva (Cooney) Jack.

He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Richard retired in 2003 after a forty year career with the Chrysler Corporation in New Castle, Ind. and attended Faith United Methodist Church. He was a member of several organizations in Greenfield including; The VFW, American Legion, Elks Club and the Moose Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Jack of Greenfield, daughters; Loree (Rick) Tweedy of Greenfield, Debbie (Kenneth) Miller of Carthage, and Deloris (Joe) Hodson of Anderson; sons, Mark (Brenda) Jack of Ariz. and Mike (Jane) Jack of Greenfield; sisters, Betty Ruggles of Greenfield and Shirley Immel of Bristol, Ind.; 12 grandchildren; several great- grandchildren; and many admiring stepfamily members.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents; son, Tony Richard Jack in 2012; sisters, Deloris Jack, Thelma Ebert and Leila Rose; brothers, Bud Jack and Harold Jack.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield. Service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. A private burial will be held at a later date.
