Joseph E. Hall, 72, of Greenwood, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013, at Community South Hospital. He was born Feb. 16, 1941, in Indianapolis, son of Howard Joseph and Roy Bell (Harris) Hall.
He worked in construction and retired from Community Health Network where he worked in Environmental Services.
Joe was an avid hunter and fisherman, and he enjoyed bowling and participated in semi-professional bowling tournaments. Prior to his illness, Joe and Elaine enjoyed traveling and visiting Tennessee.
He is survived by his loving wife, Elaine (Vandenbroeck) Hall of Greenwood; sons, James Robert Hall (Rachel) of Greenwood and John Daniel Hall (Casie) of Bourbonnais, Ill.; 6 grandchildren, Taylor, Madison, Jarod, Jakob, Jonas and Kennedy; many nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Catherine Hall; and brother, John Phillip Hall.
Funeral services will be held 7 p.m., Monday, April 22, 2013, at Flanner and Buchanan Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229. Visitation will be 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
