Thomas "Tom" E. Bell
Thomas “Tom” E. Bell, 74, of Greenfield, passed away Sunday March 3, 2013, at Morristown Manor in Morristown. He was born on Feb. 4, 1939, in Indianapolis, the son of the late Eugene R. and Kathleen (Cox) Bell.
Tom served in the Navy from 1956 to 1959. He retired in 1994 from the Greenfield Police Department after 25 years of service. He was a member of the Greenfield American Legion Post 119, the Fraternal Order of Police, and Greenfield Friends Church.
Tom is survived by his son, Bradley T. Bell; daughters, Laurie Kissee and Catherine Estep; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Bell; 1 sister-in-law; 2 nieces and 1 nephew.
Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Sarah (Dillinger) Bell; & brother -in- law, Larry Hollingsworth.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday March 9, 2013, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday March 9, 2013, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery. Military Honors conducted by the Greenfield American Legion Post, # 119 Honor Guard.
